NAMIKA SAGARA is the President of The Ipsos Behavioral Science Center for North America. Using her 15+ years of experience in behavioral economics and consumer decision-making research, she works across all of their clientele to help leverage Behavioral Science/Economics to better understand, predict and nudge consumer behaviors.
Before joining Ipsos, she was the President of Sagara Consulting and has experience consulting a diverse set of companies in various sectors to help them better understand their consumers as well as their employees’ behaviors. She has also taught marketing as well as research methodology courses at a University level. Her work has been published in prestigious peer-reviewed academic journals and has also appeared in numerous media outlets, such as the Guardian, CBS Money Watch, and Science Daily.
She received her B.S. and M.S. in Psychology and Ph.D. in Marketing from University of Oregon, and was a Post Doctoral Associate at the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, where she is currently a visiting research scholar.
